For this one we made a flannel board with: a star, a tree, a blanket and a little bear to go underneath.
Book: On Meadowview Street by Henry Cole
Activity: Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. We told this story without the book and encouraged the kids to participate with the actions.
Book: I Love Our Earth by Bill Martin Jr.
Song: Over in the Meadow, we used little animal puppets to help us sing the song.
Book: Mud by Mary Lyn Ray
Song: He’s Got the Whole World we used the version found on Raffi’s Box of Sunshine and while we listened to the song, we tossed globe beach balls onto a parachute and let the kids bounce them around.
