Book: A Good Day by Kevin Henkes.
Activity: Binocular Safari. Before storytime we hung up 10 pictures of animals around the room. We handed out paper binoculars to the children and had them look around the room for animals. They had lots of fun spotting the animals!
Book: A Closer Look by Mary McCarthy. We encouraged the kids to guess what the picture was going to be as we read this book.
