Book – Dinosaur vs. Bedtime by Bob Shea – Awesome!
Puppet Story – from the book Five Ugly Monsters by Tedd Arnold. Used awesome monster puppets to tell the tale of a girl whose sleep is interrupted by ugly monsters jumping on her bed.
Book – The Foggy Foggy Forest by Nick Sharratt. Had the kids help us figure out who was hiding in the awesome and foggy forest.
Song –“Rocketship Run” from Laurie Berkner’s cd, Rocketship Run, CD ZD ROCKETS T06. This is the most awesome song EVER! The kids loved counting down, blasting off and flying to the moon, sun and stars.
Book – Birthday for Cow, yet another awesomely funny book by Jan Thomas.
Poem – “Boa Constrictor” By Shel Silverstein. The awesome highlight of the Storytime! Patrick told the poem while being “eaten” by a sleeping bag and ended up slithering on the floor enveloped in the snake. Awesome and hilarious!
Book – Me Hungry! by Jeremy Tankard.
Song – “Wiggly Wiggles Freeze Dance” from the Hap Palmer cd, Two Little Sounds. Passed out streamers and danced and froze when indicated by the song. An awesome way to end our Awesome Storytime!
